Proper toning is the second step to achieving and maintaining healthy skin. After cleansing, toners ensure you've properly removed all of the remaining cleanser. Depending on the ingredients in the formula, toners may also help balance, exfoliate, purify, or hydrate the skin!  Moist skin is more receptive to topically applied products (water is a delivery system) so it is the ideal time to apply toners, vitamin C and other serums, hydrating gels. An astringent toner is the best for oily skin, a balancing toner for combination skin, and an emollient and soothing toner for dry and/or sensitive skin.

 DIRECTIONS: After cleansing, dispense a quarter sized amount of toner onto a  cotton pad and apply liberally to face, neck and chest to refresh and cleanse. Stroke upward on the skin. This toning step helps remove residual cleanser and brings the skin's pH back into balance. Repeat as necessary. While the skin is damp, therefore more absorbent, apply  Serum(s) and/or Hydrating Gel.
